Well last week I got a call from M's school and they told me she might have pink eye. So I went and got here. It also happened to be Curt's Friday off so we thought we would take advantage of the extra day and go on a road trip. Gavin did so well during the trip and the kids were so excited that they could count off 2 more states. We ended up visiting Memphis, TN and part of Mississippi. The picture below is at a lake we found just driving around. Emmett is doing so good with his ABC's and knows them all by heart. So we wrote out his name so he could read it to us.
Mady is getting better at writing every day, and found the beach to be a fun blank canvas that she could decorate.
We ended up going to a fire safety museum in Memphis. The had tons of old fire trucks on display. They also had some the kids could play on. It was a very fun way for us to teach them the importants of fire safety and how to act in case of one.
We also went swimming, even Gavin dipped his toes in. He is growing so quick. Yesterday he measured at 13lbs 8oz and 24 in. He is 9wks old.
