For Grandma and Grandpa....to keep up with tradition.

Pictures before Mady's first elementary school concert. The concert went well (okay not really). Mady stood on stage and did really well staying with the group. But as the kindergarten class started to sing Mady starts to hyperventilate on stage. So all through the 3 songs she has her hand on her chest as she breaths in and out in her own dramatic fashion. We all thought she was going to pass out. We couldn't stop laughing.

Apple Picking

Every year, about this time we take the kids to Eckert to get apples and pumpkins. We have so much fun!!! Then we come home and make apple pies and drink cider. Here are some pictures from this years outing.

Emmett is 100 weeks old this week. Crazy how time goes by so quick!!! Mady on the zip line at the reunion. We had to "help" her off the edge....but she loved it.

So the room is all done. Well the chair is getting changed from the brown one to a white or gray one. Here are some pics. (Sorry about the light reflecting all over, I took the photos at night.)

The brown chair really needs to go, but I have not found one to replace it yet.

Becca's Baby Shower

On May 15th I am giving a good friend of mine a baby shower. As we all know I tend to go over board when I am planning parties. But I just can't help it. I love to get creative. So far this is what is in motion. The colors I am using are pink and brown. I didn't include the pictures of the diaper cake I did but you all know they are fantastic. Lol.

The next two pictures I am smashing together and using for the main table at the shower. I love the cake plates and the drape in front on this one.

For this one of course you all know it is the pom poms that I love. I also bought some candy jars like the ones in the middle. I am planning on filling them with all pink candy, but so far I have not found any. Maybe I will call my mom-in-law and get the leftovers from my wedding. Humm anyone up for 3 year old candy? Yummy!

The favors will be onesie cookies. I really like the ones below with baby on them.

And of course since I am a semi trained florist we will have flowers. I have not picked out what they will be yet. Her favorite flowers are daisy's and so I found the picture below as an idea. I will be using pale pink roses though.

I saved the boring thing for last. Table ware. I looked and looked for pink and brown plates. I finally found some two days ago but then found out that they sold out that same day. So plain pink it is.

This last one was one of my first times doing anything. It was ok. I have gotten a lot better since.
