Ever since I was a little girl I have loved the American Girl dolls. I remember spending hours looking at the magazine and reading about all the fun things my favorite doll Samantha had to offer. I loved that doll so much. But even at that time they had a huge price tag, so I never was able to get one.
About two years ago Curt and I took a trip to Chicago. We went and saw Wicked (front row), went to see the Sears tower, and did a bit of shopping. While shopping on Michigan Ave. we found a massive American Girl store. The store had everything. It had the dolls, it had all the clothing, it had a doll salon, a picture studio, and the cutes cafe I have ever seen where the girls can bring the dolls to eat with them (the dolls even have a special chair). So of course being the mom I am, and being way over excited I vowed that I would spend the insane amount of money for my daughter (so I could live vicariously through her) and bring her to the store to buy a doll.
So last week I took Mady to the AG store for the first time. She loved it! She had the best first reaction. She dropped jaw and went, WOW! It was so worth it.
Here are some picture's. Of Mady and her new AG doll Rebecca.
